Description
Chervil, sometimes called ‘gourmet parsley, grows up to 50 cm by 30cm. It hs curly foliage, and a mild aniseed flavour. Chervil is used to flavour cooked dishes or salads.
Protect seedlings from slugs and snails.
Chervil is a biennial herb which means that It flowers and goes to seed in the second year. Allow the flowers and the seeds to remain on the plant for as long as possible. Hang the whole plant (except the roots) upside down in a paper bag to dry and release the seeds.
