Description

Jicama (Yam Bean) has edible roots, but toxic flowers and pods. EAT ONLY ROOTS. The taste is said to be like a cross between an apple and a water chestnut. This is a summer vining plant that needs a trellis or fence to grow on. Remove the flowers to give more tubers.
