Description
Lettuce ‘Chinese Red Leaf’ is a popular variety in China. The leaves are very red and can be eaten raw or cooked. Succession sow every three weeks to increase harvest length.
All varieties of lettuce, whether looseleaf, butterhead, cos, Romaine, or iceberg can be easily cross-pollinated with each other. If growing more than one variety for seed, the best strategy is to allow only one variety to be in flower at a time.
