Description
Lettuce ‘Parris Island Cos’ is a popular variety of Romaine-style lettuce. It has large, slightly crinkled leaves with smooth edges. Often picked as baby leaves from 30 days. Succession sow every three weeks to increase harvest length.
All varieties of lettuce, whether looseleaf, butterhead, cos, Romaine, or iceberg can be easily cross-pollinated with each other. If growing more than one variety for seed, the best strategy is to allow only one variety to be in flower at a time.
