Description

Common Sage is a short-lived* perennial to 60cm. It is both a culinary and a medicinal herb. The soft, grey-green leaves are used as a flavouring in cooking. When in flower, sage attracts beneficial insects. The scent of sage is said to repel cabbage moth and carrot fly.
*”short-lived” means, generally, 3–4 years
