Description
Tomato ‘Moneymaker’ is an indeterminate (climbing) vine and needs support. The fruit is medium-sized, round and red, with great flavour. This is a popular variety. This is an heirloom bred in a hothouse in England over 100 years ago, giving it the ability to withstand hot and humid conditions. This makes it ideal for hot summers.
Tomatoes are “buzz pollinated”. Cross-pollination is unusual but it can happen if there are bees, particularly the Australian native blue-banded bee going from the flowers of one plant to the flowers of another.
