Description
Tomato ‘Gold Dust’ is an American heirloom, semi-climbing bush to 80cm, may need staking. It can be grown in a container. The medium-sized, orange fruit has a small seed cavity and is very meaty. The taste is sweet and mild. This variety can be eaten fresh, or used for sauces or bottling.
Tomatoes are “buzz pollinated”. Cross-pollination is unusual but it can happen if there are bees, particularly the Australian native blue-banded bee going from the flowers of one plant to the flowers of another.
