Description

Tomato ‘Tropic’ is an indeterminate (climbing) variety that will need support. It is a good variety in the humidity of western Sydney. The round, red fruit is medium-sized, up to 8cm in diameter, with a good balance between sweetness and acidity.
Tomatoes are “buzz pollinated”. Cross-pollination is unusual but it can happen if there are bees, particularly the Australian native blue-banded bee going from the flowers of one plant to the flowers of another.
