Description
Goji Berry, also known as ‘Boxthorn or ‘Chinese Wolfberry’, is a tough, self-pollinating shrub to 1.5 metres. The cerise flowers form red to orange coloured berries which are usually eaten dried. They have a flavour similar to cranberries or sour cherries. fruit is produced from the third year onwards. The leaves are toxic. This shrub can be grown in containers. This plant has thorns on the end of the stems; wear gloves when working with this plant.
